Terms of Use

You may use Axis only if you are legally able to enter into this agreement and your use is permitted by applicable law. Axis is intended for university students, graduates, alumni, and professionals.

• Provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current.
• If applicable law requires permission from a parent, guardian, institution, or employer, you are responsible for obtaining it.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your sign-in credentials and device. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

• Do not create an account for another person without authorization.
• Do not share access, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your identity, education, role, or affiliation.
• Student verification helps us administer access but is not a guarantee or endorsement of any person.

Use Axis respectfully and only for lawful educational, professional, and community purposes.

• Do not post unlawful, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, sexually explicit, deceptive, or otherwise harmful content.
• Do not infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.
• Do not spam, manipulate engagement, scrape the service, probe security, introduce malicious code, or interfere with other users or Axis systems.
• Do not collect or expose another person’s sensitive information without a lawful basis and their permission.

You keep ownership of content you submit to Axis. You are responsible for that content and must have the rights and permissions needed to share it.

You grant Axis and Believe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transcode, transcribe, translate, display, and distribute your content only as needed to operate and provide Axis, including public sharing links that you choose to create.

• Published content may be heard or seen by other Axis users and, when shared publicly, by anyone with the link.
• Avoid including confidential, sensitive, or unnecessary personal information in content you publish.

We may investigate reports and remove, limit, or preserve access to content when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or secure the service.

• Report unsafe, abusive, infringing, or unlawful content through available in-app controls or the Axis Support page.
• We may restrict or suspend accounts for serious or repeated violations and may cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

Axis may add, change, pause, or discontinue features. We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Axis relies on service providers and may link to third-party websites or services. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use them.

You may stop using Axis at any time. You can permanently delete your account from the Account section in the app or request deletion through our public account-deletion page.

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, service integrity, or a violation of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue.

Axis shares personal experiences and general educational or professional information. User content is not a promise of admission, employment, career outcomes, or professional advice, and you should use your own judgment.

To the extent permitted by law, Axis is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, and Axis and Believe are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

We may update these Terms as Axis evolves or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated Terms on this page, change the date above, and provide additional notice when a change is material and applicable law requires it.

Your continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.
